Advice for Stallholders 2010
Stallholders are please to note the following
Access to the ground will be available from 8.00am with staggered arrival times for vehicles to avoid the congestion of previous years.
Stalls can be open from 10.30am until 4.30pm.
Cars must be removed from the ground and parked in the field opposite by 10.15am and no further vehicles will be allowed on the site until after 4.30pm.
One car park sticker per stall will be issued to allow you to park in the stallholders area at the front of the field opposite.
Each stallholder will be responsible for removing their own litter from the ground.
Stallholders are responsible for their own insurance and are not covered under the main Carnival insurance
Stallholders are responsible for undertaking a Risk Assessment of their own stall, display, demonstration or part of the event.
The name of the person ON SITE who has undertaken PERSONAL responsibility for ensuring that such an assessment has been done and risks managed will be taken on the day.
A copy of the assessment MUST be available for inspection on demand by any committee member. This does NOT preclude the Carnival Committee from further dynamically auditing any actual or perceived risks and requiring extra control measures be instituted.
Compliance is a requirement.
